When thinking of the qualities and contributions one must possess to be honored as an inspirational Women of Distinction honoree, colleagues say Collette Gray, president and CEO of Integral Senior Living and Solstice Senior Living, Carlsbad, CA, checks every box. She is a motivated leader whose life aspirations are to better everything that crosses her path, both professionally and personally. 

Gray’s passion and dedication to enhancing the lives of older adults through her professional contributions is a driving force in the industry, according to those who know her. Throughout her career, her focus on establishing a culture that provides high-quality care for residents and an inclusive, positive work environment for staff members has led to countless successes in her organization and within the senior living industry as a whole. 

During her tenure, Integral Senior Living has been ranked the ninth largest senior housing provider in the nation and one of the larger providers in the state of California. As president and CEO, she provides day-to-day operations, sales and resident care oversight for all communities Integral Senior Living manages, as well as oversees all new development projects. 

Gray is a board member of the California Assisted Living Association and, for three years, chaired its Workforce Development Committee. She has been a leader with Argentum since 2016 and is one of the founding members of Argentum’s Women in Leadership initiative.

Her dedication and hard work have had a powerful impact on the senior living industry over the past two decades, and her continued efforts undoubtedly will help shape the future of senior living as well, changing the lives of residents, employees and future leaders of the profession.
