The judges have spoken and it’s just about time to announce the national, independent panel’s decisions and reveal the winners in the 2021 McKnight’s Women of Distinction awards program.
Finalists were culled from hundreds of entries submitted in December and January. Winners will be recognized in editions of the McKnight’s Daily Update and McKnight’s Daily Briefing newsletters next week. The annual awards program is administered jointly by McKnight’s Long-Term Care News and McKnight’s Senior Living.
Considered the hallmark of recognition for women leaders in the seniors care and living industries, McKnight’s Women of Distinction honors will be given in three categories: Rising Stars, Veteran VIPs and the Hall of Honor. A Lifetime Achievement Award winner also will be announced in March.
Winners again will be feted in a special online ceremony recognizing each individually with a video presentation, as well as print and online news coverage. The ceremony will take place the evening of May 18 and again be followed by a special McKnight’s educational forum for all professionals in the long-term care and senior living industries the next morning. Top leaders will speak at three CE-earning educational webinars.
