It’s just about time to get those entries ready: The 2023 McKnight’s Tech Awards + Summit will be opening for nominations and registrations on May 9.
That means it’s time to start gathering thoughts about your accomplishments — and future plans — in order to hit the ground running when this industry wide competition kicks off. The entry period will again extend until mid-June.
McKnight’s Excellence in Technology award entries will once again be accepted in five categories in each track: skilled nursing, senior living and home care. The entry categories are: Quality, Innovator of the Year, KISS (Keep It Super Simple); Building Bridges; and Tech Partners of the Year.
Winners will be recognized for technology uses that improved efficiency, demonstrated innovative thinking or harnessed new tools to benefit residents and staff.
This annual showcase is a free opportunity for providers to demonstrate leadership and outside-the-box thinking when it comes to today’s tech. The solutions don’t have to be complicated or costly. The judges get just as excited about simple strategies that lead to smarter workflows or better quality of life as they do about system wide changes and investments.

Winners will be selected by a national judging panel in summer, with winners announced at a virtual McKnight’s Tech Awards + Summit in October and an in-person celebration in November in Chicago.
