The 34th annual conference of ADVION (formerly NASL) takes place Oct. 1-3 in Denver. Registration is ongoing for the group formerly known as the National Association for the Support of Long-Term Care until a name change last October.
Events will take place at the Hyatt Regency at the Colorado Convention Center, partly in conjunction with the simultaneous annual meeting of the American Health Care Association/National Center for Assisted Living.
The groups will kick off their programs with a joint Rehab Therapy Symposium from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Oct. 1. Following will be a welcome lunch and educational sessions on post-acute value-based care and the new Minimum Data Set (that goes into effect that very day). An evening welcome reception will cap the evening from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
The ensuing two days include a full slate of discussion on technology, regulatory and other top subject areas. Oct. 2 and 3 also will include exhibit hall hours within the AHCA/NCAL convention footprint.

ADVION was founded in the Fall of 1989 by advocates of professional medical services to long-term care facilities. ADVION now represents the legislative and regulatory interests of approximately 100 companies providing physical, occupational and speech-language pathology therapies, portable x-ray/EKG and ultrasound; health information technology systems; and products such as complex medical equipment; parenteral and enteral supplies, equipment and nutrients; and additional specialized supplies for long term and post-acute care settings nationally.
