Meghan Tyrrel, RPh, has been promoted to assistant director of pharmacy at New York’s Gurwin Healthcare System.
Tyrrle has a background in retail and was with Target Pharmacy for 10 years before starting at Gurwin Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation in Commack, NY, about six years ago. She attended St. John’s University in Jamaica, Queens, and graduated in 2000 with a bachelor’s degree in pharmaceutical science.
Gurwin is a life plan community offering short-term rehabilitation, long-term skilled care, adult day care, home care, respiratory care and memory care and dialysis.
