Shannon Gutierrez has been appointed chief operating officer of Presbyterian Homes’ Ten Twenty Grove rental community and three Life Plan communities located in Illinois. Gutierrez will oversee team building, development and technology implementation at each facility.
Gutierrez most recently served as national vice president of operations for Anthem Home Care, adding to her 25 years of experience working within the senior living industry. She has also acted as VP of operations at Horizon Bay Retirement Living and Silverado senior living, according to Linkedin. Gutierrez holds a bachelors in social work from the University of Illinois and became a licensed nursing home administrator in the state of Illinois in 2003.
In her new position, Gutierrez aims to improve workplace communication to enhance the quality of life for all residents. Additionally, she wishes to maintain a strong work culture and introduce innovative technologies into each facility. A self-proclaimed “believer in servant leadership,” Gutierrez hopes to dedicate her time to interacting with residents and their families.
